still in awe

i am still in awe of this art exhibit i recently saw where all these images were made of spools of thread! I want to have that river rock wall in my house!

lookin' good.

i was totally right about my banana bread looking so much better in my vintage loaf pan. i think this pan could make even meatloaf look good.

the marriage of cranberry & orange

finally had time to make these cranberry orange cookies i've been craving which in turn made for a very happy hubby. i used a recipe found here. only i added chocolate chips...no surprise there. looking forward to having these treats around for the next couple of days...hopefully. :)

oh baby

i accidentally watched TLC's A Baby Story yesterday which featured two very complicated births and consequently pushed my baby thinking farther away. But these baby pictures via happinest photography (they did my wedding pictures!) may just be enough to change my mind again. :)

oh how time does fly

my little bro turned 21! i am still freaked out by that.
we had a celebratory cookout at my place!

successful dinners

ever since my mom got me a subscription to rr everyday for christmas I have been trying lots of new recipes and have increased my love for cooking consequently. here are last weeks recipes:

Sadly, this is the extent of my Easter decoration this year. That little bunny has survived from elementary school...it's actually a pencil topper. We used to win them in class and this was one of my favorites and thats probably why it survived all these years. what can i say? i'm a sentimental pack rat.
